So you stretched your last dollar to visit a specialist... how can you afford to treat your child or family to a little fun? Go to a park you never have been to before. Find out about local events that are free to attend such as outdoor festivals, etc. We have seen parades, visited malls during large local events to participate in contests and shows. Sometimes contacting event organizers and explaining why you will be there before you arrive asking for free admission can pan out in our favor as well. As long as you remember that your child needs to have fun growing up and is just as stressed about seeing doctors as you are, you will make it happen.
